With over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry, Ashley has dedicated his life to helping others transform through fitness and faith. His journey began at New Bern High School (Go Bears!), where he first discovered his passion for lifting — a passion that has only grown stronger over the decades.
Ashley is a certified personal trainer, a multi-year titleholder as North Carolina’s Strongest Man, and a seasoned bodybuilding competitor. Throughout his career, he has inspired and changed hundreds of lives, bringing a deep commitment to every client he works with.
In January 2024, Ashley and his family opened BernFit with a mission to be a "Third Place" for the New Bern community — a welcoming, supportive space outside of home and work where people can better themselves physically & mentally. Ashley is passionate about all aspects of fitness and is ready to help you reach your personal goals.
